I was just wondering what version of onarcade I could use to have it be compatible with phpbb2?
And is it easy to have it just use the phpbb2 database?

There is no integration between onArcade and phpBB, so if you want to integrate them then you would have to do it yourself and it would be wise to do it with the latest versions of onArcade and phpBB. But if you just need forums for your arcade then onArcade also has built in forums system:

Yes but I already have a phpbb2 running with over 9000 users. I just want onarcade running with it, and I would like the users to be logged in with the same accounts in onarcade.

Theoretically it is possible, but there is no ready-made solution for this, so you would either have to do the integration yourself or find someone to do this for you (I cannot help you with it).
